Best Hubs.

 Oh my golly. What a sweet man!! This week Hema went way out of his way to make me feel extra special for my birthday. Tuesday morning he woke me up early with breakfast in bed. Spam and eggs and pancakes!! We both had to work, and Hema sent flowers to my work. After work, my sweet mother-in-law took me out to lunch (thanks again!) and for dinner Hema took me to Cafe Rio!! So basically, the day of my birthday, I just ate all day. Perfect.

Hema asked before what I wanted for my birthday. I told him that I wanted to do something I had never done before- preferably something outside, and free. He told me he had a surprise planned for the weekend after my birthday. So Friday when I got home from work, the car had our bikes packed up, and I went inside and our backpacks were packed. He told me he was taking me fishing for the first time ever! Thanks to our awesome landlord for lending us her bike rack and her fishing rods :)

We biked down the Jordan River Trail (our favorite biking place as of late) and stopped at a beautiful pond. Hema taught me all the basics, and it was so fun. Just us with beautiful nature surrounding us.

I love things being just us.

We can't wait to go fishing again! We have lots of adventures planned for this summer, so stay tuned!! Summer has been amazing so far.

Last year on my birthday, we were wandering the city of Babahoyo. I had the privilege of meeting lots of amazing, beautiful people. We ended the day eating at a delicious buffet. When we got back to the hotel, Hema and I snuck up to the roof where there was the most amazing view of Guayaquil. Including the view of the temple! Hema asked me to dance, and he sang to me the same song he wrote to sing when he proposed to me. I cried tears of pure joy for all the wonderful things I have been blessed with. And my greatest blessing is my sweet Hema.
