Dos Anos!

2 Years!
People always say that a mission is the "Best 2 years FOR your life"
Well I can confidently say that this has been the best 2 years OF my life.
Without a doubt.

“True love is not so much a matter of romance as it is a matter of anxious concern for the well-being of one's companion.”
― Gordon B. HinckleyStand a Little Taller: Counsel and Inspiration for Each Day of the Year

“Cultivate an attitude of happiness. Cultivate a spirit of optimism. Walk with faith, rejoicing in the beauties of nature, in the goodness of those you love, in the testimony which you carry in your heart concerning things divine.”
― Gordon B. Hinckley

“In all of living, have much fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.”
― Gordon B. Hinckley

I always tell my friends who are getting married to never blame life on your marriage. That's where you'll run into problems. There are few circumstances when your marriage is to blame. Even though life is beautiful and wonderful and there is so much happiness to be had, life can also be really hard. But that's the beauty of having an eternal companion who will be there with you, always.
Learning with you, growing with you, praying with you, crying with you, laughing with you, smiling with you.
Marriage is such a beautiful, amazing adventure.
And it can last forever!!
And it will only get better, and more wonderful and exciting.
I truly believe that with all my heart.
I am so blessed to be married to my best friend. As Hema says- "I am so happy that I have a love I can count on."
We are so grateful for the gospel, for the atonement, for trials, and for the plan of happiness.
Reflecting on my wedding day, and the intense feelings of happiness, of joy, of comfort, of love, I didn't think it was possible to love Hema more than I did at that moment. But I do! And our love will only keep growing for each other. I love him more and more every day.

Enough mushy gushy stuff.
We decided to combine our Christmas and Anniversary gift into one so we could do something fun for our Dos Anos.
We went up to Ogden and went indoor skydiving at iFly. It was soooo fun!! We stayed the night up there, ate Greek food, had a gnarly pillow fight, went hot tubbing, rode the free Trolley and chatted it up with the Trolley driver, and ate complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. On our way home the next morning we decided to hit up Sill's Cafe in Layton since we're never up that far. That place is sooo yum. And to prove it, they always have a massive waiting list. These 2 nice ladies behind us asked if we wanted to double up so we all would get seated faster, and we agreed. They were such fun people, and we had a really nice chat with them as we ate breakfast together. We should talk to strangers more often:).

Please enjoy this video that Hema made of our flight experience. Hema is pretty good at it, and I am not. I mostly just giggled and drooled.
